Measurement: For inside mount, the window frame should be at least 2" in depth, and the Shade width (Selected width) = Window width - 1/2", while the Shade height ≥ Window width. For outside mount, the shade width and length should be 4 inches wider than the window frame for better coverage.
Product Details: The selected roller shade size is 23"W x 72"H, and the total shade width you will receive is 23 inches, with the fabric width being 1" narrower, which will be 22"W. This will result in a 0.5" gap between the fabric and the top-rail on each side. The outside mount option will be better to prevent the light from the gap.
